Spend tow leisurely days exploring Marari Beach Resort- an award winning resort in Kerala. The village of Mararikulam is tucked away behind a line of dense palms that rise like a sudden rampart of green out of the sands. Like all villages, it has evolved naturally, in 'picturesque disorder'. The huts are slapdash adobe, thatched with palm and tied with coir or coconut rope. Neat and scrupulously clean footpaths veer between the huts; while everywhere, the pungent scents of the sea mingle with the fragrance of coconut, oil and spice. Marari originates from "Mararikulam", one of the local fishing villages, where life still goes on much as it did a hundred years ago, with the men going out to sea each day to earn a living bringing in the daily catch. Completely new to the holiday maker. Marari offers endless miles of superb sand beaches backed by swaying palms, virgin territory where you can experience the local charm/and traditional Keralan Hospitality at it's best. The Marari Beach is built in the style of a traditional fishing village with thatched villas that have been designed to be in keeping with the local village style. All meals will be served on board.

  • There was a lot of stuff planned for the tour. Luckily, there were only 4 of us and we were able to change the tour schedule around a bit to fit our needs. We had a wonderful driver and great support from the company. I would recommend this tour to others.

  • The tour was very well organised. Leading up to the trip, staff got back to me straight away with any queries over email. We had the same driver throughout the trip, who was always on time. The local guides were friendly and knowledgeable. There was also lots of flexibility to add things into the tour we wanted to see. No complaints!
